Missing teen found safe

Parents post message of thanks.

A 14-year-old boy, reported missing from his home, has been found safe.

The parents of Aidan McKenna from Castleshane, Co. Monaghan provided an update which was then shared on social media.

Aidan was reported missing since Tuesday morning, January 28.

Gardaí confirmed that the teenager has been located safe and well.

"Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance."
