Gardaí concerned for missing teen's well-being

It is believed that Aidan McKenna (14) intended on travelling to Dublin.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a missing 14-year-old reported missing from his home.

Aidan McKenna was reported missing from his home in Castleshane, Co. Monaghan since Tuesday morning, January 28.

Described as being 5 foot 6 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes, when last seen, Aidan was wearing a black puffer jacket, black trousers and white/green Nike runners.

He was also carrying a backpack and it is believed that Aidan intended on travelling to Dublin.

Gardaí and Aidan's family are concerned for his well-being.
