Colette Teahan, Keadue, Cathedral Road, Cavan. Saturday 18th January peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Castlemanor Nursing home. Beloved wife of the late Noel and dear mother of Mary (Peter), Desmond, Brendan and the late Justin. Sadly missed by her loving daughter, sons, son-in-law, sister in law Àine, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Monday evening from 6.00pm until evening prayers at 8.00pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11.00am in the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan. House strictly private please.

John Kirk

Rathtrasna, Drumconrath, Meath / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of John Kirk, Rathtrasna, Drumconrath, Co. Meath and formerly of Tullyallen, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Saturday 18th January 2025, peacefully in his 92nd year at Castleross Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Mary, parents Mick and Margaret and brothers Eamonn, Francie and Michael. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving nephews and nieces: Michael, Pat, Ann Marie, Pearse (Tullyallen), Maragret, Linda, Michael and David (UK), grandnephews and grandnieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Sunday afternoon from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday morning from Deery’s Funeral Home to arrive at St Peter & Paul’s Church, Drumconrath C15 X432 for Requiem Mass at 11 am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Upper Magheracloone (A81 KD72).
