Missing Ballinagh teen found safe

A teenager missing from Cavan for almost a week has been found safe, gardaí have reported.

Ballinagh teenager Melissa McDonnell (17) was missing since January 11, 2025.

A garda spokesperson reported that Melissa "has been found safe and well."

"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance," the spokesperson concluded.
