Margaret (Rita) Clarke, nee Brady, Old Bridge Road, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. January 4th 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John, twin Sister Teresa, Brothers and Sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, Sons John, Vincent and Leo, Daughters Andrea, Eilish and Blaithin, Son-in-law Darshan Wariabharaj, Daughters-in-law Jennifer and Kristan, Grandchildren Erin, Dylan, Liam, Aidan and Kiera, Brother John, Sisters-in-law Phyllis and Anna Brady, Nephews, Nieces, relatives, Neighbours and a large circle of friends.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home Cootehill (H16 FD25) this Thursday evening January 9th from 5pm to 7pm. Removal leaving Mullen's Funeral Home on Friday morning January 10th at 10.30am to arrive at St. Michael's Church Cootehill for 11.00 o'clock funeral mass, followed by burial afterwards in St. Michael's cemetery.

Susan Collins

(née Farrelly)

Cloontrask, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Kilmurray, Castlerea and Laragh, Co. Cavan

6th January 2025.

Peacefully at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe surrounded by her loving family. Susan will be sadly missed by her husband James, son Michael (Athlone), daughters Margaret (Castlerea) and Susan (Dublin), brothers John and Patrick, grandchildren Eoin, Áine and James, daughter-in-law Fiona, son-in-law Matthew, sister-in-law Kathleen, brothers-in-law John, Joe and Paddy, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Susan will be reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5pm - 7pm on Wednesday evening (8th January). Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Thursday (9th January). Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Kelly (nee Mc Dermott), Carrigallen Drive, Finglas South, Dublin and formerly Gallon, Virginia, Co. Cavan peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her sisters Una (Moore), Betty (Lucas) and Patricia (Finnegan). Deeply regretted by her loving husband Peter and her loving sons Ciaron and Dermot, her cherished grandchildren Laura, Emma, Aisling and Darragh and her great-granddaughter Cara. Sadly missed by her husband, sons and grandchildren, her daughters in law Suzanne and Patricia, her brother Phil Mc Dermott (Gallon, Virginia), her sisters Rosaleen (Manchester), Catherine Reilly (Stoneybatter) and Nuala Quinn (Trim), her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Masseys Funeral Home, Finglas Village D11ET7P on Friday evening from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Removal to St. Matthew’s Church, Maghera on Saturday morning arriving for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to a charity of your choice.

The Kelly family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care and attention and kindness shown to Mary during her illness from the staff of Beaumont, Connolly and Mater Hospitals. And to acknowledge their gratitude to the wonderful carers who tended to Mary with such attention, care, dignity and love.

January 6th, 2025 (peacefully) at Beaumont Hospital. Sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, sons Brian, Derek, Alan and Eoin, daughters-in-law Lesley and Una, Eoin's partner Emma, grandchildren Tiernan, Siobhán, Aoife and Conor, sisters Joan, Monica and Catherine, brother Paul, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Rock's Funeral Home, Swords on Friday (Jan. 10th) evening from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Removal on Saturday (Jan. 11th) morning to Our Lady of Victories Church Ballymun road, arriving for 10 a.m. Mass followed by funeral to Dardistown Crematorium. The death has occurred of Noreen Duffy, Benmore, Tullynahinera, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan. Monday January 6th, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Hughie and Kathleen and her brother in-law Gerry Mc Cague.

Noreen, deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her family, sisters Anne (Mc Cague), Dympna, Pauline (Bernard Ryan), Moira (Gary Mc Mahon), brother Pauric (Karol) her cherished nieces & nephews Lisa, Jack, Danny & Maeve, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family, neighbours and her many devoted and loyal friends.

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Grimes, Laurel Hill Place, Castleblayney and formerly Agheshael, Broomfield, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Monday, January 6th at his residence.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget, infant brother Francis Anthony, sister Mary Moore and brothers Harry and Andy.

Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Donato Tedeschi, 43 Oliver Plunkett Park, Drumillard, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan and formerly Glasgow. Tuesday January 7th, peacefully at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.

Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Nèe Mulligan).

Donato, deeply regretted and remembered by his extended family, sister in-law Rose Malone, nieces, nephews, cousins, his long time carer Michelle Martin and her family, neighbours and friends.

Removal from the funeral home on Thursday morning at 10:30am, driving, to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Castleblayney (via his late residence in Oliver Plunkett Park and The Island Gates) for funeral mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
