Some minor works and snagging will be ongoing during 2025.
Cavan County Council has confirmed this week that works on the N55 Corduff to South of Killydoon Realignment Scheme, Section B are now “substantially complete” with traffic lights removed.
A spokesperson added: “Some minor works and snagging will be ongoing during 2025.”
Clare Civil Engineering Ltd has carried out the roadworks on behalf of the local authority. The new route included the construction of three single-span bridges over the River Erne, as well as culvert crossings.
The €30M scheme now offers more safety for the over 5,000 vehicles that travel the route each day.
