Combilift wins prestigious workplace award

Monaghan's Combilift has scooped the top Team Award at National Apprenticeship Office Awards 2024.

Shauna McKenna and Martin McKenna of Combilift, based in Annahagh, received the acknowledgement on behalf of the local firm at a ceremony held at the Radisson Blu St. Helen's Hotel in Dublin earlier this month.

The pair were recognised as national champions, seeing off competition from 80 outstanding nominees from across Ireland this year.

Now in its sixth year, the awards celebrate exceptional businesses across the country who are passionate about supporting and developing the talent and success of apprentices.

Combilift CEO, Martin Mc Vicar stated that the business he runs has a “strong reputation of training and employing apprentices including Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) and other apprentices. It’s a privilege to see our team, led by Martin and Shauna, rewarded for their commitment in nurturing the next generation of talent with the collaborative support from Cavan Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB).”
