Continuing unsettled with spells of rain and blustery winds at times. That's the latest outlook from Met Éireann.
Largely dry today with a few sunny spells. Generally cloudy though with patchy outbreaks of drizzle moving in across the country. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.
Dry for much of tonight with clear spells. However, cloud will increase later and some rain and drizzle will arrive into Atlantic counties towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees, in mostly moderate southwest winds.
Turning rather wet and windy tomorrow (Tuesday). After a largely dry start across Ulster and Leinster, low cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle will extend countrywide. The rain will turn heavy in places during the afternoon, especially across southern areas. It will become quite windy too, with fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds. Highest afternoon temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
The rain will become patchy overnight, clearing eastwards with scattered showers following. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with fresh to strong southwesterly winds veering westerly.
It'll start out fairly dry on Wednesday morning with just showers around before a spell of rain will spread across the southern half of the country in the afternoon. Most of Connacht and Ulster will avoid the rain altogether with just showers feeding in at times. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees early in the afternoon with light to moderate west to northwest winds.The rain will clear eastwards early on and scattered showers will follow from the west in light to moderate northwesterly winds. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees
A cold, bright fresh day with sunny spells and showers, some heavy and of hail. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees but feeling cooler in a moderate, gusty northwesterly wind.
The showers will continue in western and northern areas overnight and winds will ease. It will be cold with lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees in west to southwest winds
It will start out bright with sunny spells and a few showers Friday morning before rain moves southeastwards across the country in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in a moderate to fresh southwest wind veering westerly and easing light to moderate as the rain clears.
Current indications suggest it will remain unsettled for the weekend with further spells of rain, showers and strong winds at times. Temperatures will fluctuate a little too, but will be generally close to average.
