Mild spell continues with sunny intervals

Generally cloudy today but there'll be a few sunny intervals, especially in the northeast of the country. Scattered patches of rain and drizzle will spread northwards during the day but overall there will be plenty of dry weather. Top temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees in moderate southerly winds.
A few patches of rain and drizzle about tonight, especially in the northwest. Some areas of mist and fog developing also, particularly on southern coasts and hills. A mild night with lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate southerly breezes.
A mostly cloudy but mild day is expected on Wednesday. There will be a few patches of rain and drizzle around but overall lots of dry weather. A few limited bright or sunny spells may develop, these are most likely to occur in northern counties. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in moderate south to southeast winds. Mist and fog will affect eastern and southern coastal districts at times.

Rather breezy on Thursday with lots of cloud. It will be a dry day for many but there'll be some patches of rain or drizzle, especially in the south and southwest. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in moderate to fresh southeast winds.
Rain is likely to move in from the Atlantic to affect Munster and Connacht early on Thursday night, before extending across most of the country by dawn on Friday. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in light southeast winds.
Scattered outbreaks of rain are expected on Friday as a decaying frontal rain-band lies over the country. Some sunny breaks are possible in the west. Maximum temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees with mostly light and variable winds.
Patchy rain and drizzle on Friday night will gradually become confined to Ulster with some clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in light south or variable winds.
There will be some bright or sunny spells on Saturday but plenty of cloud overall. Generally dry but there'll be a few patches of light rain or drizzle about, especially in Atlantic coastal areas. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.
Outbreaks of rain are expected to move in from the Atlantic on Saturday night clearing into the Irish Sea by Sunday morning. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees.
Early indications suggest that any overnight rain will quickly clear on Sunday to leave a mostly dry day with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.
