Late of Ballinlough, Cork and Cavan.

Former teacher, Scoil Mhuire, Cork

Peacefully, in the exceptional care of Milford Care Centre, on 19th October 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Padraig and loving mother of Niall, Gillian, Dorcas, Garrett and Susan. Sadly missed by her loving children, sons-in-law Brendan, Cathal and John, daughter-in-law Kathy, grandchildren Alex, Jenna, Hannah, Lola, Connor, Patrick, Harry and Sarah, by her brother Hugh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Milford Care Centre Mortuary on Sunday, 20th October from 4pm-5:30pm. Funeral arriving to Mary Magdalene Church, Monaleen on Monday, 21st October, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock, Cork.

Mary Kate Mc Elvaney

The death has occurred of Mary Kate Mc Elvaney, Drumguill, Threemilehouse on Friday the 18th October, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Francie, her son Felix, and baby Oliver, her brother Mickey, Canon Felix, Jim, John and her sister Rose.

Mary Kate will be forever loved and missed by her sons and daughters, Padraig, Marie(Treanor), Margaret(Reddington), Bernie(Mc Elvaney), Pauline(Farrell), John, Dolores(Maguire), Geraldine(Mc Elvaney), and Evelyn (Mc Phillips), sons-in-law and daughter-in-law. Mary Kate will also be remembered and missed by her 26 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren who will always treasure the memories of her. She will always be remembered and loved by her sister, Sr. Redempta (Peggy), sister-in-law Eilish Connolly and Frankie Connolly USA.

Mary Kate will repose at her home (H18KF68) on Sunday (20th) and on Monday (21st) from 2pm until 9pm. Mary Kates funeral procession will leave her home Tuesday morning at 10:15am to arrive at St Mary's Church, Threemilehouse for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Carson (nee Simpson) 19th October 2024 Betty, peacefully at Drumbear Nursing Home and formerly of Annagola, Ballinode, Co Monaghan. Beloved wife of the late John and dear mother of Ruth, Tommie, Ruby and Willie. Betty’s remains are reposing at her son Tommie’s home Santa Maria, Drumbear, Cootehill Road, Monaghan, H18XN73 from 1pm until 8pm on Sunday 20th October. Funeral Service on Monday 21st October in St Dympna’s Parish Church, Ballinode at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Very deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters, son-in-law Gerard O’Hanlon, daughter-in-law Barbara, Tommie’s partner Patricia, Ruth’s partner Eddie, grandchildren Jason, Dwayne, James, Alan, Pamela, Christopher and Eleanor, great grandsons Lee and Toby. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Ballinode Church Repair Fund and Drumbear Nursing Home.
