Success in Dubai for Indian Tandoori
A Virginia restaurant has been recognised at the World Star Hotel Awards hosted in Dubai late last month.
Indian Tandoori Virginia took the gong for Best Indian Cuisine at a gala ceremony, hosted by Golden Tree Events LLC, in the Westin Marina Hotel in Dubai, UAE.
Emadul Choudhury, manager of Indian Tandoori, thanked his “beloved customers” for their support. He also thanked his team of chefs for their “culinary art”, which has elevated the restaurant to international standards.
The restaurant was judged on a broad rang of criteria including chef’s team work, menu, management, restaurant service, social media and promotion, social responsibility, guest experience and certification among other aspects.
Mr Choudhury expressed his sincere thanks to organising committee, judges and guests. He also shared some tips and the secrets of his success to those gathered for the event.
The restaurateur also revealed how he plans to open two more restaurants in Ireland and Dubai in the near future.
Mr Choudhury also received a special trophy and certificate from the industrialist, Sheikh Yahub Ali Molla; and other guest of honour, Mr Upendro Singh, who both congratulated him on his success.
The Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, Cllr T.P. O’Reilly and Senator Joe O’Reilly both extended their congratulations to Mr Choudhury and his team at Indian Tandoori in Virginia.

It’s not the first time the popular eaterie has won awards - having featured highly in the Curry Awards Ireland last year.
