Kyte announces 2024 Scholarship Recipients
Kyte Powertech has announced the recipients of its 2024 Scholarship in Science, Engineering & Business.
The recipients are Clodagh Doyle and Darragh McCarville. Both students were selected for their outstanding academic achievements and dedication to their respective fields of study. Clodagh is pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science at University College Dublin (UCD) and will be mentored by Kyte Powertech’s Chief Financial Officer, Noel Culbert. Expressing her enthusiasm for the opportunity, Clodagh said: “I am very excited to begin the Kyte Powertech scholarship programme under Noel’s guidance. The support from this scholarship will greatly benefit my studies.”
Darragh is meanwhile studying Mechanical Engineering at Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Galway. He will be mentored by Stephen McSharry, Kyte Powertech’s Industrial Engineering Manager.
Darragh shared his appreciation for the scholarship saying: “I am finding my course both interesting and challenging. Receiving the Kyte Powertech Scholarship is a tremendous help, and I’m grateful for Stephen’s support in guiding me through my studies. I can’t thank Kyte Powertech enough for this fantastic opportunity.”
As part of the scholarship programme, both students will receive financial assistance to support their education and have the opportunity to gain valuable mentorship and work experience from experienced professionals at Kyte Powertech.
Applications for the 2025 Scholarship are expected to open shortly. As part of the selection process, Kyte Powertech representatives will be visiting Leaving Certificate students in Cavan to provide more information and encourage applications.
