Rose Brady

Ballyhaise, Cavan

Rose Brady, Née McPartland, The Square, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan, Sunday, October 6th, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Lisdarn Unit Cavan. Beloved wife of the late Pat and dear sister of the late Thomas.

Rose will be sadly missed by her loving sons Mark, Niall and PJ, daughters in law Adela, Amanda and Aideen, her adored grandchildren Lachlan, Donnacha, Ada, Hughie, Conor and Sofia, sister Sheila, brothers Patsy, Anthony, Joe and Francie, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and many friends.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday, October 8th from 4pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass at St. Mary's Church, Ballyhaise, on Wednesday at 11am with interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery Castletara.

Noel O'Halloran

John Paul Avenue, Cavan Town, Cavan / Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary

Noel O’ Halloran, John Paul Avenue, Cavan, formerly of Carrick-On-Suir, Tipperary, Sunday, October 6th, peacefully at his home. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Kathleen, brothers Denis and Michael, sister Kathleen and brother-in-law Michael.

Noel will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Kay and his sons David, Noel and John and daughters Kathleen and Margaret, son in law Sean, daughters in law Linda and Ciara, David’s partner Carol, his adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, brothers Pat, Eddie and Paul, sister Ann, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Teresa O’Reilly

Cornahilt, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

The death has occurred of Teresa O’Reilly (nee Reynolds) of Cornahilt Bungalow, Ballyjamesduff, formerly of Mohill and New York, peacefully at Sheelin Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Teresa is pre-deceased by her husband Patrick, her sisters Nancy, Patti, Rose, Rita, and her brother Francis. Teresa is sadly missed by her loving family, her daughters Kelly (Kevin), Patricia (Edwin), and Maureen (Paul), her sons John (Nora) and Philip, her sisters Margaret, Marie, and Kay, her grandchildren, sister in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbours.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82 YV58) on Thursday 10th of October from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Friday the 11th at 12pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff followed by burial afterwards in the new cemetery.

Joe Lynch

Blackwater Vale, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Joe Lynch, Blackwater Vale, Monaghan Town, Sunday 6th October, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in Cavan General Hospital. Joe is predeceased by his wife Maureen and his brothers, Jim and Paddy.

Joe will be forever loved and missed by his son Breffni (Kelly), his daughter Sinéad, his adored grandchildren Seosamh & Ciaran, his sisters Monica and Ann, and his brother Brian, his nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends

Joe will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home (H18YF22) on Wednesday the 9th from 5pm until 8pm. Joe’s funeral procession will arrive at St Macartan’s Cathedral on Thursday morning for 11am funeral mass, followed by cremation in Lakeland Crematorium in Cavan.Funeral Mass will be live streamed and can be viewed by clicking the "Funeral Service" button below. Finbar Joseph (Barry) O'DUFFY

O’Duffy, Finbar Joseph (Barry) (Harold’s Cross, Dublin and late of Castleblayney, County Monaghan) October 5th 2024, peacefully at St. James Hospital. Beloved son of the late Dr. Joseph and Joan O’Duffy, and brother of the late Rory. He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Jim, Dermot and Kiran, sisters Joan Walkin and Helena Carty, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Anne Rahman

(née McCarney)

Rathfarnham, Dublin / Clones, Monaghan

Anne passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024, at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross,surrounded by her loving family. Family meant everything to Anne and she will be dearly missed by her cherished husband of 46 years, Zillur; her devoted children, Tarik, Shauna and Rohana; and her beloved brothers Peter, Tom, Eamon and Michael. Anne also played the role of doting Gran/Nonnie/Nana to Azalea, Raiya and Thea and was the treasured mother-in-law of Victoria, Declan and Michael. She was very close to her extended family in Ireland, Bangladesh and around the world, who are deeply saddened by her loss.

Originally from Clones, Monaghan, Anne built a life in Rathfarnham with Zillur and their family filled with love, music, travel, adventure and countless cherished memories. She had a hugely generous heart and spirit, an infectious zest for life, with a special passion for music, singing and dancing. Anne’s legacy of love, kindness and dedication to her family and friends will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her family take comfort in knowing that she will reunite with her mother Ita, her father Peter, her brother Paddy and her Auntie Maureen.

Reposing in Peter Massey Funerals, Ruah Centre, Ballyroan (D14 T0C8) on Wednesday, 9th October, from 4'oc - 6'oc. Funeral mass on Thursday in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, at 10'oc, with burial thereafter in Kilmashogue Cemetery.
