Sunshine later today

A wet and cloudy start this morning, however sunny spells are expected develop this afternoon according Met Éireann.

Today will begin cloudy with outbreaks of rain lasting for much of of day, with some heavy downpours possible at times.

The rain is set to clear northwards later this afternoon, with sunny spells developing.

Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in light to moderate south to southeast winds.

There will be clear spells to start tonight but it will become cloudier overnight with patchy rain and drizzle spreading from the south.

Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in light to moderate south to southeast winds.
