Foil Arms & Hog will play in Carnegie Hall next year on their 'Skittish' tour - the group's biggest tour yet.

The Irish sketch comedy group have sold out shows at the Palladium in London and the Sydney Opera House, and in March next year will play one of the most famous theatre in the world, New York’s Carnegie Hall.

Their last tour played 136 shows in 57 cities across 21 countries.

Despite the big-name venues, the group said their favourite place to play is still Ireland.

Along with their world tour, the group have a host of Irish shows coming up, with four shows in the Belfast Opera House, a big run of dates in Dublin’s Vicar Street, the Cork Opera House, Theatre Royal Castlebar and Leisureland in Galway.

With their YouTube videos attracting a worldwide audience, Foil Arms & Hog have been able to perform in places such as Prague, Bucharest and Helsinki.

Throughout their travels, they have found the audiences vary hugely from Irish ones. While Irish audiences do not mind a chat, they do not really want to draw attention to themselves.

Foil Arms & Hog found that Americans, in contrast, will not stop talking, and the Eastern Europeans "treat you like the secret police".
