Defendants to appear in court over cannabis haul

Two people arrested following the seizure of cannabis plants and herb with an estimated street value of €880,000 in Castleblayney this week will appear in Cavan District Court this morning.

A man and woman, both aged in their 30s were arrested on Tuesday, (September 17) as part of Operation Tara and were charged.

They are due to appear before Cavan District Court this morning at 10:30am.
