Sunny spells set to continue

Weather update from Met Éireann

Dry and pleasant today with long spells of warm sunshine. Highest temperatures 18 to 21 degrees, with the lowest values along eastern coastal margins, due to the onshore light to moderate southeast to east breezes.

Tonight will be dry with mostly clear skies, with a few mist and fog patches forming. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 11 degrees in light easterly or variable breezes.

Tomorrow will be another dry, sunny day. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees, in light to moderate easterly breezes, with the lower values in eastern coastal parts.

High pressure will continue to dominate for the rest of the working week so it'll stay settled and dry with plenty of early Autumn warm sunshine. Pressure will drop a little then over the weekend, and while it'll still be mild or warm with a good lot of dry weather, there'll be some showers too, especially in the east and south.
