It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie
JAMES (SÉAMUS) BAXTER
Railway Bridge, Castlemaine, Kerry / Belturbet, Cavan & Birmingham, UK
Séamus died peacefully on August 24th 2024, surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his parents Michael & Annie and his beloved brother Patsy.
Dearly missed by his devoted wife Noreen and treasured step-sons: Kevin, Paul & Michael, daughter-in-law Sandra, his cherished grandchildren: Aaliyah, Aaron, Daniel, Francis & Seán; sisters Bernice & Mary; brother-in-law Fergus, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours & many friends.
May Séamus Rest In Peace.
Reposing Monday evening (Aug. 26th) at Flynn's Funeral Home Castlemaine from 5.30pm - 7.00pm followed by removal to St. Gobnait's Church Keel.
Requiem Mass Tuesday (Aug. 27th) at 12 noon.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Mass will be live streamed here.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in her 99th year, in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff of Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick (Paddy) and her cherished daughter, Denise Cassidy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her children Annette Grehan, (Dublin), Raymond (Ray), (Clane, Kildare) Martina Osborne (Carlow) and Michelle, (Mullagh), daughter-in-law Margaret, sons-in-law Tom, Eddie and Mick, her adored 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Carmel and Pearl, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The death has occurred of Anthony McGonigle, Clones, Co. Monaghan (formerly Donegal), Saturday 24th August 2024. In the care of St. Vincents Private Hospital, Dublin and surrounded by his heartbroken family.
An adoring husband, father and grandfather. He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Nuala, children Aoife, Fíonnadh, Níamh, Kevin, Néasa and Cónán; their spouses & partners; his 10 amazing grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Is doiligh éalú ó ghéasa an ghrá.
