Monica Nielsen

(née McCabe)

Grange Road, Cashla, Athenry, Galway / Cavan

The death has occurred of Monica Nielsen (nee McCabe), Grange Road, Cashla, Athenry, Co Galway and formerly of Behey, Co Cavan. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Galway Hospice on 16th August 2024.

Devoted wife of Richard and cherished mother of Emily and Robert. Sadly missed by her family, her sisters Teresa, Kathleen and Bernie, brothers Roy and Danny, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors and friends.

Predeceased by her infant son Andrew, her parents Bobby and Ann and sister Sheila.

Leiter, Bailieborough, Cavan

Rose Mary Aherne (nee Gillick), Leiter, Bailieborough, Co Cavan, died on the 17th August 2024, peacefully, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Michael John.

Deeply regretted by her son Jimmy, brother Eugene, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Sunday 18th August from 3pm-5pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough, on Monday 19th August for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. Straheglin, Belturbet, Cavan

Margaret Bogue (nee Coyle), Straheglin, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, 16th August 2024. Peacefully at the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family after an illness bravely borne with great courage and dignity. Predeceased by her beloved son Colin, parents Tom and Rose, brother Tom.

Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving family, her dearly beloved husband Johnny of 51 years, sons Anthony, Ciaran and Declan. Sister Mary, brothers Phil, Francie (Mary), Michael (Jean), daughter-in-law Claire, adored grandchildren Leah, Rebecca, Dillion, Ciara, Hannah and Ava, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Margaret will be reposing at Lawlor’s Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet (eircode H14 R583) on this Sunday evening from 6pm until evening prayers at 8pm. Margaret will leave her home on Monday morning at 10.30am to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet, for Funeral mass at 11am with burial afterwards in Staghall Cemetery.

Louis McNally

Stella Maris, Baylough, Athlone and Annyalla, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan.

Died peacefully, surrounded by his family's love in the dedicated care of the staff on St John's ward, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. Predeceased by his infant daughter Joanne, his parents James and Rose, brothers Philip and Eddie, sisters Sarah, Madge and Cora. Sadly missed by his loving wife Anne and his children Aine (Moran), Clare (Lennon), Colm, Kieran, Neil, sons in law and daughters in law, his 11 adoring grandchildren, sisters Marie, Kathleen, brother in law Brendan, sisters in law Kathleen and Margaret, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing on Monday evening at The Strand Funeral Home (N37 E6K0) from 6.30 to 8.30. Mass of the resurrection on Tuesday in Ss. Peter & Paul's Church at 11 o'clock, followed by burial in Drum Cemetery.
