AONTÚ selects Cllr Sarah O'Reilly for Cavan Monaghan seat in upcoming General Election

Cllr Sarah O’Reilly has been selected as the Aontú candidate for the upcoming General Election in Cavan and Monaghan.

Cllr O’Reilly topped the poll for the party during the recent local elections in the Cootehill-Bailieborough Municipal District.

Not only did she reclaim her seat in the council chamber, and repeat her feat of 2019 in topping the poll, Cllr O’Reilly increased her first preference vote by 66 votes.

Speaking to the anglo celt at the time, she added: "It was a very tough campaign and I actually didn't think I would get elected because it was so tough. There was a lot of anger out there, but my work, which I pride myself on, brought me through, like it always does."
