Gardaí in Co Cavan are seeking the public’s assistance to recover a bicycle and trailer that were stolen locally in recent days.

Between July 9 and July 10, a mountain bike was stolen from the Staghall area. Gardaí in Belturbet are asking those who noticed anything suspicious at the time to contact them on 049-9522262.

Meanwhile, the public’s assistance is also being sought after a 12/13 tonne Herbst trailer - the Herbst signs are barely visible - was taken from Deredis in Butlersbridge between 3:30-4:30pm on Saturday.

Gardaí say it was last seen being pulled by a black and blue Ford New Holland on the Inishmore Road.

Those who saw the action or have dashcam footage or CCTV footage in their possession are asked to contact Cavan Garda Station on 049-4368800.
