Formerly of John’s Street, Waterford
It is with the greatest sadness that Morgan and Sabrina O'Connell announce the death of their first born, and much beloved son Christopher O'Connell at the age of 24 years.
Christopher died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, 5th of July. He will be forever missed by his parents, his broken hearted brothers Alex, Adam and Eoin.
Taken from this world before his time, his incalculable loss is also grieved by his grandmother Helena O'Connell, his grandfather Seán McPhillips, his aunts, uncles, all of his cousins who loved him deeply.
Sadly missed by his many friends.

The death has occurred of Frank Dowd Knappagh, Shercock, Co. Cavan July 7th 2024 peacefully in the loving care of his family at home. Predeceased by his wife Ann, daughter Catherine. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving daughters Josephine, Teresa, Brid, Mary, Jacqueline, Sons-in-law, Michael, Andrew, Robert, Matthew, his 10 grandchildren, Sisters Bridie, Theresa, Kathleen, Sisters-in-law, Brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill (H16 FD25) on Monday the 8th July from 4-7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning leaving his daughter Josephine's residence to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Maudabawn for 12.30pm Funeral mass. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's cemetery Bawn, Co. Monaghan. House private to family and close friends please.
Bernard (Benny) King
Carrickaclevan, Ballinagh, Cavan
Bernard (Benny) King, Carrickaclevan, Ballinagh, Co Cavan, Sunday July 7th peacefully after a short illness at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his father Joseph, mother Kathleen, his brother Pat and his nephew Thomas Moore. Sadly missed by his brothers Donal, Dominic and Michael, sisters Betty and Kathleen, partner Jennie, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and many friends.

Ita Farrell (nee Harten) Percy French Park, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, parents Felix and Mary, sisters Nan & Phyllis, brothers Frank, Packie and Felix and brother in law Benny. Sadly missed by her sons Padraig (Celia), Jim, Bernard and Gary (Nora), daughters Jackie (Mickey), Lorraine and Marie (John), grandchildren Natasha (Padraic), Aaron, Conor, Thomás, Charley, James, Caimin, Ruby and John, great-grandson Tomás, brother, sisters, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Monday in St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff, followed by burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, on the Oldcastle road. House private to family and close friends please. Family flowers only, donations, in lieu, to Cavan Palliative Care.

Peter Joseph Reilly, Killycasson, Loughduff, Co Cavan, Saturday, July 6th, peacefully at Lisdarn Unit, Cavan. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Kathleen and his sister Beatrice Beirne. Sadly missed by his brothers Terry and John-Patrick, sisters Bernadette and Dympna, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, Sunday, July 7th, from 6.30pm until 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.00am in St Joseph's Church, Loughduff, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private, please.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved husband and father Hugh Kirk.
On 6th July, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Deeply mourned by his wife Stella, children Stephen and Sarah, his sisters Geraldine and Marian, his brother Raymond, his nephews and nieces and his wide circle of friends in Ireland and abroad. Predeceased by his mother, Dympna, and his father, Mickey.

The death has occurred of Mary Campbell, 8 Oriel Park, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan, Saturday, 6th July, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by her brothers John, Tommie and Seamus. Sadly missed by her nephew James, niece Jean and the Boyd family.
May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Mary's remains will repose at McMahons Funeral Home, Emyvale, on Sunday from 5pm until Rosary at 6pm. Removal to St Patrick’s Church, Corracrin, Emyvale, for evening prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass Monday morning at 11am, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
