Monaghan woman wins CareGiver of the Year 2024

A woman of compassion, thoughtfulness and professionalism.

Valerie Campbell from Co Monaghan is the recipient of the prestigious Ulster CareGiver of the Year 2024 award. The accolade was bestowed upon the local woman after she was nominated by the team at Home Instead Cavan and Monaghan.Caroline Smith, General Manager said Valerie was an exceptional person who went the extra mile for anyone she could.

“Having worked with Home Instead for seven years, Valerie is a great support for both new and current CareGivers,” she continued. “For clients she is a breath of fresh air and for the office staff, Valerie is reliable and accommodating.”

Meanwhile, Judge Amanda Spencer, Chief People Officer at Horizon Group emphasised the remarkable testimonials and feedback from Valerie’s colleagues, fellow CareGivers and her clients. “Valerie has been described as exceptional, empathetic, caring and professional,” she added. “Valerie has made an incredible difference not only in her clients lives but also their families.
