Matthias (Matt) Argue, Ballinamoney, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, Died 21st May 2024, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his siblings, Jimmy, Michael, Fergus, Gerrard, Andrew, Annie, Margaret and Kathleen. Deeply regretted by his brother in law John, sister in law Shirley, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Clarkes Funeral Home, Wednesday evening from 6pm until removal at 7.45pm to arrive at St Anne's Church, Bailieborough at 8pm. Funeral Mass Thursday at 11am with burial afterwards in St Anne's Cemetery.

Leiterville, The Vale, Bailieborough, Cavan / Swords, Dublin

Johnny Hoey Leiterville, The Vale, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan and formerly of Glassmore Park, Swords, Co. Dublin, Died on the 20th May 2024 suddenly at his residence. Deeply regretted by his life long partner and best friend Dee, his loving sons, Jonathan, Craig and Cillian, grandchildren Kayleigh, Liam, Kara and Wylder, his brothers Gerry and Greg, his sisters Denise, Tishie, Frances and the late Vicky, his aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, daughters in law and wide circle of friends.

Philip (Phil) McMAHON

Clonsilla, Dublin / Cavan

McMAHON, Philip (Phil) of Porterstown, Dublin and formerly of Behey, Co. Cavan died suddenly, Tuesday May 21st 2024. Beloved husband of Breda, proud father of Orla, Seán and Laura and a devoted grandfather of Conor, Éabha, Alanna, Zach and Ayla. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Alex and Seán, daughter-in-law Tríona, brothers Tommy, Paddy and John, sisters Moira, Letitia and Noreen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and loyal companion Ottis his Springer Spaniel.

May Phil rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Thursday evening (May 23rd) from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral mass in St. Mochta’s Church, Porterstown on Friday morning (May 24th) at 10am followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. Harold's Cross, Dublin / Loch Gowna, Cavan

O’Reilly, Dettia, 20th May 2024, (Harold’s Cross and late of Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan), passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital. Beloved mam of Seán and Steph and much loved grandmother of Tom and Jim. Predeceased by her loving mother Margaret O’Reilly and sister Kathleen McGovern. Dettia will be forever loved and sadly missed by her loving children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Sarah, brother John, sister-in-law Chrissy, nieces, nephews, extended family and her many friends in Dublin, Cavan and Oman.

May Dettia rest in peace.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday (22nd May) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday (23rd May) at 10 am in Church of St. Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus and afterwards for a cremation service in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Brendan McFadden

Oliver Plunkett Park, Dundalk and formerly of Monaghan Town.

Who passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in Spain on Sunday 12th May 2024.

Brendan beloved husband and best friend of Una,

Predeceased by his parents Dermot and Ann, and his father in-law Jim Coburn.

He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken wife, brother Seamus (Monaghan), his sister Nuala (Canada), mother in-law Agnes, brothers in-law James Coburn and Dessie Keenan, sister in-law Elaine, nephews and nieces Aimee, Ben, Emmett, Michelle and Daniel, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.
