Bright and blustery with showers

Bright and blustery on Sunday with sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy.

Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southwesterly winds with gales on western and northwestern coasts during the morning, gradually easing later.

Sunday night then will see showers dying out, as southwesterly winds gradually weaken.

“Some clear spells will develop for a time, but cloud will increase overnight and rain will push in over southern counties before dawn,” forecasts Met Eireann.

Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees.
