Cowboys and Heroes fest returns to Ballinamore
RANCH Biggest names in Irish country
Cowboys and Heroes returns from May 31 to June 3 promising another incredible weekend of the biggest names in Irish Country at Drumcoura City Ranch.
This year's festival will feature the likes of The Whistlin’ Donkeys, Derek Ryan, The Tumbling Paddies, Robert Mizzell, Johnny Brady, Jimmy Buckley, Claudia Buckley, Patrick Feeney, David James, Sina Theiland and many more!
The event is unique in Ireland for providing Country Music with a full festival experience, complete with on-site accommodation, camping, a camper van park, an American car show, a Western horse show, can-can girls, line dancing, five bars, themed restaurants, and the largest indoor arena in the region.
There will also be multiple competitions and prizes over the weekend with €1,000 up for grab in the jiving competition; a Country Star singing contest; and the all new Western Barrel race. There are even spot prizes for the best dressed Cowboy and Cowgirl at the show.
The action packed four day event includes a family day on Monday, June 3, with face painters, amusement rides, pony rides, a kids tractor run and live music all day. Visitors can pay whatever they like on the gate for this family fun day out, with all proceeds going to Make a Wish Ireland.
With huge demand for tickets, accommodation can be difficult to come by but there is ample camping grounds for tents, camper vans and caravans offered by a neighbouring land owner.
There is no need to book the camping, just arrive and pay on the day.
