Clients at heart of Farnham Financial
Women in business, particularly entrepreneurs, need access to sound financial advice and business-to-business services. Farnham Financial Services Ltd, currently headed up by Anna Smith, is there to help.
The firm, established in 1987 by Gerard Kelly (GMK Partners, formerly Kelly Rahill) provides professional advice to individuals and the business sector.
The company specialises in financial planning and advice, pensions and retirement options, investments, life insurance and protection.
With nearly 40 years’ experience in an ever-changing financial landscape, Farnham Financial Services Ltd has the interests of their clients at the heart of the business.
Anna Smith has been with the company for 30 years. She says the firm is there for people from the time they start out on their mortgage journey, to education planning, choosing the right pension plan, retirement options and everything in between.
“Also, because of our close association with the accountancy practice, we do tax planning for all clients - not only the clients of the accountancy practice - and that provides us with huge connectivity,” explained Anna.
“We will consider the individuals’s preferences re lifestyle, attitude to risk, investment preferences including sustainable investing etc, and build a strategy and a statement of suitability for them,” she added.
Investment products are carefully chosen for clients with full documentation.
“The client is at the heart of everything we do here,” Anna continued.
“And we are constantly building on what we have and providing the services to people that they need. Trust between the client and the company is to the fore; and drives our business culture.”
The business has adapted to many changes over the decades especially in relation to housing and access to mortgages.
“We support and advise people now on what they need to do so they are in the best possible position to get their mortgage. And the pension landscape has also changed, particularly over the last 12 months.
“We are delighted to advise people on their options and what is most suited to their requirements,” said Anna.
A holistic approach ton an individual’s finances is taken at Farnham Financial Services Ltd.
“Somebody might come to us looking for a pension or a mortgage so we look at the overall needs of the person. It’s an holistic approach to the person’s needs, bearing in mind always what they can afford,” she concluded.
