Letitia (Tesha) Good (nee Hamilton) Drumgoon, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, Monday, January 15th, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband James. Letitia will be very sadly missed by her son James, daughter-in-law Gwen, granddaughter Gemma, grandson Jordan, sister Elizabeth, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and her beloved dog Alfie. Resting in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin rd, Cavan tomorrow evening, Wednesday 17th from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral service in Killeshandra Parish Church on Thursday at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Maureen Kearns née McGee

Glasnamullen, Kilmacanogue and formerly of Kill, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan

Maureen passed away on Saturday, 13th January 2024, surrounded by her loving family at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her son Darren who she is now reunited with in heaven along with her parents Mollie and Breen and sister Teresa. Remembered with love and great memories by her husband Paddy, daughters Pauline, Orla and Shauna, sons Kieran and Stephen, sons in law Brian, Brendan and Stuart, daughter in law Jessica, and by her adored grandchildren Tristin, Alannah, Darragh, Rian, Reece, Samuel and Aaron, siblings Nuala Briody, Siobhan Lynch and Vincie, God daughter Lorraine, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Maureen will repose at the family home (A98 FN36) from 6pm on Wednesday and all day Thursday. House private on Friday and Saturday. Funeral arriving to St Mochonog's Church, Kilmacanogue, on Saturday for funeral Mass at 12 noon after which Maureen will be laid to rest with Darren in the adjoining cemetery.

Seamus Boylan

Mount Merrion, Dublin / Cavan

Boylan, Seamus (Mount Merrion and late of Corratubber, Co. Cavan) 11th January 2024, unexpectedly, but peacefully, at home. Lovingly remembered and very dearly missed by his wife Anne, his children Siobhán, Eamonn, Bláithin and Cathal, his brothers Tom, Charlie and Matt. Reunited with his darling daughter Gráinne, his brothers Sean and Brian and sisters Mary and Jeromeen. Fondly remembered by his sons and daughters-in-law Enda, Shay, Jane, Jack and Clare, adoring grandchildren Jack, Ellen, Robert, Andrew, Conor, Kate, David, Elliot, Sophie, Hugo, Olivia, Georgia, Bobby, Charlie and Freddie, great granddaughter Rosie and his extended family, friends and neighbours in Dublin, Cavan, Wicklow and UCD. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, in her 99th year. Predeceased by her beloved Husband Phelim, Grandsons Phelim and Andy, daughter in law Eileen and her siblings Margaret, Mary, Teresa, Peter and James Patrick. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her devoted children, Tony (Rosehill, Mullagh), Margaret McGuinness (Rahanna, Ardee), Felim (New York), P.J. Nuala will be sadly missed by her daughters Bernie and Trish, son-in-law Philip, sister Mai McDonagh, brother-in-law Phil Cullen, grandchildren Dwayne, Sarah, Louise and Amy, nieces, nephews, relatives and her many friends. Bernadette (Bernie) Youngs (née Cusack)

London and formerly of Garrymore, Ballinagh, Cavan

The death has occurred of Bernadette (Bernie) Youngs (nee Cusack), formerly of Garrymore, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Kings College Hospital, London on 04/01/2024. Predeceased by her husband Martin Youngs. Much loved mother of Shane and Siobhan Youngs. Sadly missed by her granddaughter Erin Youngs, her brother Owen Cusack and sisters Kathleen Coyle, Agnes O’Connor, Rose O’Shea and Frances Foy, her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in St Mary of the Crays Church, Crayford Wednesday, 31st January, from 17:00 to 20:00. Funeral service 10:30 1st February followed by cremation at Eltham Crematorium at 12:30.

Frank Hughes, formerly of Chestnut Lodge, Laragh, Co. Monaghan and Patrick Street, Newry, died peacefully at Dundalk Care Centre, Silverstream, Dundalk, Co. Louth, after a brief illness. Frank is pre-deceased by his parents, Alice Hughes (née Mohan) and Peter Hughes (Main Street Blackrock). Sadly missed by his loving wife, Maureen Hughes (nee McCartan), his children Peter (Newry), Aidan (Ravensdale), Dermot (Warrenpoint), Caroline (Newry) and Allison (Durrow), his grandchildren Alex and Jools Hughes, Aishling and Rory Kirwan, his daughter-in-law Jane and his son in law Patrick Kirwan, and his extended family.

Gabrielle Smyth, (née Coogan) ​​​​​​,​Drumbroughas North, Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh and formerly Annalore Street, Clones. Died Monday 15th January 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Michael (Micky). devoted mother to Samantha (Andy), Stephen (Natalie), Ciaran (Nicola) and recently deceased Simon (R.I.P.). Loving grandmother of Rose, Ben and Freya. Dear sister of Ann Cosgrove, Patricia Boyle, Pauline, Rita Preston, Bernadette, Noreen Kearney, Alan, Brian, Maurice and predeceased by her siblings Marie, Irene, Sean, and Tony (R.I.P.).

Gabrielle will repose at her late residence until removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to arrive at Holy Cross Church, Lisnaskea for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass.
