Round of applause due to take place at Liverpool game for Patrick
A round of applause is due to take place today at the Liverpool vs Tottenham game in memory of Patrick Donohoe.
At approximately 5:13pm, as the clock hits the 43rd minute, the applause is expected to go on for one minute.
The applause is being orchestrated by Liverpool supporters.
Patrick, who worked in the Hotel Kilmore was laid to rest on Friday in St Mary's Church, Ballyhaise.
He was due to be at the game today.
In today's match programme, the Ballyhaise man is described as "a true Liverpool supporter who travels to numerous games".
"[Patrick] was due to be at Anfield today but passed away suddenly this week, aged 42.
"May he rest in enternal peace. YNWA."
Mr Donohoe (43) died suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, April 22.
He is the son of Eamon and Kathleen, owners of John V. Donohoe's Bar in the village, and brother Susanna and Maria. He is pre-deceased by his aunt Susanna, uncles Paddy and John.
His death is also mourned by his aunts Mary D'Arcy, Maura McGurren, Vera Argue and Angela Flynn, uncles Jim Leonard, Thomas Leonard and Joseph Leonard, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many, many friends.
Affectionately known as 'Reg', he worked at the Hotel Kilmore for 28 years.
Kick-off at Anfield is scheduled for 4:30pm. The match will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League.
