Ann P Brady née Greally, Kells Road, Bailieborough, Co Cavan and formerly of St. Brendan's, Ballygar, Co. Galway passed away on the 21st April 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the wonderful staff of Med 5, Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Pat, her parents Annie and John, sisters Mary and Peggy, brothers Mattie and Michael and her son-in-law Joe Flannery.

Ann will be forever loved and sadly missed by her daughter Veron Flannery, son Fergal and daughter-in-law Denise, daughter Eimear and partner Kevin, her grandchildren Finola, Ross, Clíodhna, Tadhg, Nessa and Fionn, great grandchildren Seánie, Síofra, Ffion, Sadhbh, Frankie and Siún, her nephews, niece, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home (A82 W2H7), Bailieborough on Thursday 24th April from 5pm - 8pm. Removal on Friday 25th to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. The funeral mass can be viewed live via St. Anne's Church Webcam here.

Kathleen Donlon (Née McGovern), Derryglen, Carrickaboy Co Cavan Formerly Toome, Dring, Co Longford.

Predeceased by her husband Bryan, parents Michael and Anna, brothers Micheal and Seamus, sister Maura, niece Kellie-Marie.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, Annamarie McGaughran (Sean), Bernie Geraghty (Brian), Grainne Kelly (Liam) Derek (Edel), Chelle Marley (Aidan), Ray (Liz), Darren (Denise), grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her best friend Michael Bernard. Sadly missed by her brothers Peadar , Martin and Brendan, sisters Anne, Geraldine and Angela brother-in-law Michael and Sean sisters in-law Nora, Geraldine, Rosie and Katheen, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Tom Fitzpatrick, Riverview, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Cavan general Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Much loved husband of Marcella and loving father of Barry, Mary, Michael and KarolAnne and doting Grandad of Milo, Darragh, Rory, Harry, Ella, Naoise and Eolann.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, his sons, daughters, his grandchildren, his daughters in law Michelle and Mags and his sons in law Jim and Ciarán, his brother John and his sister in law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Matthews' Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Tuesday evening from 5 o'clock until prayers at 8 o'clock.

Removal to Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia on Wednesday morning arriving for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kinkade Florence (Florrie), Cornagran, Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan, Monday 21st April, 2025, at her home, in the loving care of her son David. Predeceased by her husband Harry. Sadly missed by her son David, her daughter Anita and her sister Dorothy. Deeply regretted by her many friends and neighbours.

Florrie will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home (H12RF78) on Tuesday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm with Removal from her home (H12W3Y2) on Wednesday 23rd April to the Church Of Ireland, Loch Gowna (H12HR22) for Funeral Service at 2pm. House private to family and friends at all times please.

McAree, (née Farmer) Bríd, late of Santry and Latton, Co. Monaghan - 19th April, 2025, after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by her family and in the wonderful care of the staff of Rathborne Nursing Home. Beloved wife of Vincent and loving and devoted mother to Maria, Deirdre, Noreen, Vincent and the late Pauline.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, daughters and son, grandchildren David, Sinéad, Nicola, Aideen, Kim, Niall, Emma, Claire, Eoin, Seán and Luke, great-grandchildren Rebecca, Cillian, Grian, Evan, Nathan, Averil, Amelia and Tadhg, daughter-in-law Ruth, sons-in-law Pat, Rory and Brian, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

PEGLEY, Anna (Nancy) (née Fitzpatrick), (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Lisabuck, Clones, Co. Monaghan) April 19th 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Eamon and cherished and much-loved mother of Sharon, Lorna, Darren, Shane, Ross and Eamon Óg (Óige).

Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren Nadine, Niki, Cian, Eamon, Ruán, Cillian, Caoimhe and Ebhain, son-in-law Ron, daughter-in-law Hang, brothers Gerard and Tommy, sister Patsy, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Predeceased by her brothers Matt, Finbarr, Eamon and her sister Eileen.

Removal on Thursday morning (April 24th) to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00am followed by cremation in Newland’s Cross Crematorium.

Des (Deda) Ward

Cordoolough, Ballybay, Monaghan

It is with deep sadness that the family of Des (Deda) Ward, Cordoolough, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan, announces the sudden passing of Des on Easter Sunday April 20th.

Predeceased by his father Dessie and his mother Rosemary.

Des is remembered with love by his heartbroken family, his partner, friend and life companion Sinéad, his devoted son Shane and his partner Roseanna and his adored granddaughter Nell, his brothers and sisters Peter, Thomas, Maryrose, Kathy, Jamie, and Carol, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Des’ funeral cortège will arrive to St Patrick’s Church, Ballybay, on Wednesday afternoon for funeral mass at 2pm, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
