It’s with great sadness that the family of Lorraine Brady Nee Donohoe, Clarderry, Annyalla, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan and formerly Tonaloy, Doogarry, Killeshandra, Co.Cavan announces the sad and sudden passing of Lorraine at her residence on Saturday April 5th.

Predeceased by father her Pat Donohoe and mother in-law Annie Brady.

Lorraine remembered with love by her heartbroken family, husband Aidan, mother Roseleen, brothers Liam (Kitty), Damien (Martina) and Noel (Catriona), father in-law Seamus, brothers in law Declan, Noel and Enda, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Unexpectedly, forever loved and will be sadly missed by his heartbroken partner Eimear and cherished son Caleb, his sorrowing parents Aidan and Martina, his beloved siblings, Jemma, Celine, Aideen, Liam, Ciara, Paige and Brandon, his Nanna Philomena Brady, Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Relatives, Neighbours and many Friends.

Anne FARRELLY

(née Hogan)

Tullybrick, Shercock, Cavan

Anne Farrelly (née Hogan), Tullybrick, Shercock, Co. Cavan, formerly Castlegaddery, Ballinacarrigy, Co. Westmeath, passed away peacefully in the care of Cavan General Hospital on Saturday 5th April 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe, her parents Teresa and Tom, brothers TJ and Brendan.

She will be sadly missed by her loving son TJ (Deirdre), daughters Catriona (Martin) and Mary (Jonathan), brother Michael. sister Mary , her adored grandchildren, brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at her son TJ’s house (A81 N622) on Sunday 6th April (Private for friends and neighbours) and Monday 7th April from 12.30pm-8.30pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday at 11am at St Anne’s Church, Killann followed by burial at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Shercock.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.

Norman Smyth

Derryola, Redhills, Belturbet, Co. Cavan.

Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Saturday 5th April.

Norman will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Florrie, brother Robert, son Kenneth and partner Mabel, grandchildren James and Hope, cousins, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Resting in Lakelands Funeral Home (H12 RF78) , Dublin rd, Cavan tomorrow Monday from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm.

Removal from Lakelands Funeral Home on Tuesday via Cloverhill, arriving in Kiloughter Parish Church (H14KV70) for funeral service at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Family flowers only please, donations in-lieu, if so desired to Killoughter Parish Church and ISPCA, c/o Magee & Finnegan Funeral Directors.
