Brian Wynne

Aughersakilly, Ballyconnell, Cavan

The death has occurred of Brian Wynne in his 94th year, Aughersakilly, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan.

Saturday the 5th April 2025, following a short illness, under the kind care of staff in Cavan General Hospital Emergency Department and Medical 6, surrounded by his loving family.

Brian is predeceased by his sister Breege and his nephew Padraig Kelly.

Brian is sadly missed by his brother Paddy (Patricia), sisters Mary, Chrissie, Bernadette and Eilish (Pat), nieces and nephews, and adored grandnieces and grandnephews.

Brian’s remains will repose at Lawlor’s Funeral Home, Belturbet, Co. Cavan (H14 R583) on Sunday 6th April from 3pm to 5pm. Remains arriving to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell on Monday 7th April at 12 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Foxborough, Drumsna, Leitrim / Monaghan

4th April 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family at Sligo University Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his wives Mary and Angela, his daughter Miriam, brothers and sisters.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his devoted family.

Sons Kevin (Chris), Gerard (Maragret), Monaghan, Kieron (Margaret) Drumsna, Barry (Fiona) Hartley, Carrick-on-Shannon, son-in-law Frank, grandchildren Colin, David, Rebecca, Darragh and Cillian, great-grandchildren Ruby, C.J, Mollie, Daíthí, Noah, Mia and Luca, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Gerard will Repose in the church of the Immaculate Conception Drumsna on Monday 7th from 4-7pm.

Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday at 11o’clock in the church of the Immaculate Conception Drumsna

with burial afterwards in Latlurcan Cemetery, Co. Monaghan arriving at 3.45 pm approximately.
