A landmark country pub, restaurant and shop, has been relisted for sale.

The Cross Bar and Restaurant at Clondergan, Stradone, was listed for sale back in 2023, and again towards the end of last year.

The guide price for the property was previously advertised circa €675,000.

One of the county’s best-known establishments, The Cross property comprises a bar, lounge, restaurant, function room, a three-bedroom home, convenience store with post office, workshop, and office unit. It has been owned by the Brady family since 1947, and was originally an old thatched building, only for this to be demolished and redeveloped. A restaurant was added in 2020.

The business is currently operated by well-known local businessman Laurence Brady.
