Late of Dayton, Texas

Formerly of Drummoney, Virginia, Co Cavan

Con passed away peacefully on 20th December 2024 surrounded by friends in Baytown, Texas.

Predeceased by his parents James and Rose, brothers James and Bernard (Brian).

Con will be sadly missed by his sister Bridget (Phyllis) Leahy, sister-in-law Adrienne McEnroe, nieces and nephews Fiona, James, Jessica, Orla, Patrick, Rosalyn and Simon, grandnieces and grandnephews Constance, Erin, Florence, Isla, Joseph, Martha, Minnie, Seamus, Sissie, Tobias; extended family, neighbours and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be offered on Sunday 13th of April 2025 at 09:30 in St Patrick’s Church in Lurgan, Virginia, Co Cavan, followed by the interring of Con’s ashes at the McEnroe plot in Lurgan New Cemetery.

Brigitte Le Juez

York St., Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Brigitte Le Juez, York Street, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan / France, peacefully in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin, on Sunday March 30th, 2025.

Pre-deceased by her father Maurice. Brigitte is mourned by her husband Brian (Duffy), her mother Micheline, her sister Joëlle, by Paraic, Vera, Mark, Paul and Nuala, and by her many former university colleagues and friends.

Brigitte will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75 NP30) on Wednesday April 2nd from 5 pm until 8 pm.

A humanist celebration of Brigitte’s life will take place on Thursday April 3rd in the theatre of the Íontas Arts and Community Centre, Castleblayney (A75 HK09) at 12 midday, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12 RF78) at 3.45 pm.

House strictly private and no flowers by request please.

Peacefully at Castleross Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his wife Rita and his daughter Marguerita.

Sadly missed by his sons John, Gerard and Edward, daughter Sarah Samantha, his sister Teresa (North Wales), grandchildren Nadine, Demi, Aaron, Shauna, Caithlin and Charlene, great grandchildren and a wide family circle of in laws, relatives and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday (01/04/2025) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

House private at other times please.

Removal on Wednesday (02/04/2025) at 10.15 a.m., arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Clontibret for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
