The death has occurred of Primrose Clarke (nee Faulkner), Kilmacnoran, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan.
Passed away on Friday the 21st of March 2025 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband George and her grandson Joshua Gould.
Deeply regretted by her loving family, Avril (Raymond Gould), Wanda, Olwyn, Keith (Caroline) and June, grandchildren Emma, Melissa, Megan, Jacob, Aaron, Nathan and Harry, sisters-in-law Hazel and Isobel, brothers-in-law Deryk and Willie, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Resting at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, Co. Cavan (H16EH61) on Sunday the 23rd of March from 3pm until 6pm. House private at all other times please. Funeral cortege will leave her residence on Monday the 24th of March at 1.30pm to arrive at Drung Parish Church of Ireland for funeral service at 2pm, followed by interment in adjoining graveyard.

Alice Teresa (Lollie) Dalla Vedova
(née Maguire)
Cavan
DALLA VEDOVA (nee Maguire). Lollie passed away peacefully in Rome on 17th March 2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Riccardo, sons Marco, Carlo, Peter and Lorenzo, adored grandchildren and many nieces and nephews Sisters, Betty and Sheila and brother Patrick and pre-deceased by brothers, Charles, Mickey and Frank.
Funeral Mass will be health on Saturday 22nd of March at 9.30 in St. Patrick's Church, Rome.
May she rest in peace.
Philip Hickey
Rolagh, Kingscourt, Meath / Kingscourt, Cavan
The death has occurred of Philip Hickey, Rolagh, Kingscourt, Co. Meath, who passed away in his 91st year, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, 21st March 2025.
Predeceased by his wife Frances, his son Valentine, his brothers Tommy and Jimmy, and his parents Philip and Margaret. Deeply regretted by his sons Philip, John, Paul, Kieran, and Martin, daughters Bernadette, Margaret, Jackie, Caroline, and Fiona, his brothers Paddy and Terry, and sisters Breda, Theresa, May, and Maggie. Philip will also be sadly missed by a large extended family, including his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt (A82 R3W2), on Monday, 24th March, from 4pm to 8pm. Philip’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 25th March, at 10am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen Olwill (nee Lee), Billis, Cavan Town, Thursday March 20th 2025, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Lena, brother Robbie, infant brother James and her granddaughter Niamh. Kathleen will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by her loving husband and best friend Gerry, her heartbroken family, Yvonne, Iusna, Declan, Shane, Aisling, Aileen and Edel, her adored grandchildren, sons in law, daughters in law, brother Sean, sisters Mary, Helen and Pauline, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all her extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Kathleen will repose at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Sunday evening from 4pm until 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am in the Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan followed by a cremation at Lakelands Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Palliative Care Unit, Cavan General Hospital c/o Mc Mahon Funeral Directors, Cavan or donation box in the Funeral Home. The death has occurred of Winifred (Winnie) Garland (née Brennan), Kiltybegs, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan and late of Chapel Street, Dundalk, Co. Louth, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda Thursday 20th March 2025. Predeceased by her parents Peadar and Theresa. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband Hughie, son David, brothers Vincent and Jimmy, sister-in-law Marie and Jean, nephews, nieces, relations, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 C653 on Saturday from 2pm to 8pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday morning from her residence to St. Enda’s Church, Killanny, A81 VY39 to arrive for Requiem Mass for 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Inniskeen.

The death has occurred of Jim Pat McCarron, Corryarabeg & Derrykinnighmore, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan. Thursday 20th March peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his wife Agnes, parents Patrick & Elizabeth and sister Mary (Dunleavy).
Jim Pat will be sadly missed by his wife Sheila, sons Seamus & Brendan, daughters Geraldine (Watterson), Breige (McCarron), Eileen (McCarron) and Una (Ennis), sons in law Victor, Francis, Pat & Hugh, daughters in law Patricia & Karen, grandchildren Finbarr (Raj), Damien, Cormac, Gavin, Aoife, Oisin, Rachel, Hannah, Lucy, Neil, Daniel & Aine, great granddaughter Roisin, stepdaughter Jane, stepson Jamie and his family circle and friends.

Jim Pat's remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 on Saturday from 5pm - 8pm and on Sunday from 5pm - 8pm. Remains will leave his son Brendan's home on Monday morning to arrive at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickroe for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Laurence Gabriel (Gay) Mc Dermott, Watford, U.K. and formerly of Drumbracken, Magheracloone, Co. Monaghan, unexpectedly at Watford General Hospital, Monday, 17th March, 2025.
Predeceased by his parents Laurence and Esther and his sister Helen. Gay will be sadly missed by his brother Thomas, sisters Noeleen, Gráinne and Catriona, sister-in-law Anne, brothers-in-law Tony and Gary, aunt Gretta, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and friends.
