Gardiner’s Carpets weave their magic

Almost three decades in business, Gardiner’s Carpets in Kilnavara on the outskirts of Cavan Town, supplies and fits carpets, vinyls, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) and other flooring to commercial and domestic customers.

Alan Gardiner is at the helm of the family enterprise, which employs seven people. It was started in 1997 by his parents, Dessie and Anna, who are both still involved in the business.

Those looking for new carpets or flooring are urged to visit the warehouse and showroom at Kilnavara where stock is regularly discounted.

The team prides itself on supplying and fitting – making sure customers are happy with the finished product in their home or business before concluding the deal.

“We do a lot of contract flooring, so we do schools, nursing homes, hospitals, wet rooms, offices, houses and dressing rooms as well,” detailed Alan about some of the projects they have been working on.

He’s pleased to report that business is going well.

“We always have a lot of stock, maybe 20, 30, 40 rolls at any one time, whether that be carpet, vinyls, pallets of wood flooring,” said Alan, assuring consumers that there is always a good deal to be struck. Gardiner’s Carpets is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
