Today, Tuesday will be dry but is set to turn noticeably cooler, with bright or sunny spells and just isolated showers at first across Ulster.
Later this afternoon, showers will develop more widely near the north coast, gradually spreading southwards over the province this evening.
Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees. Light to moderate north or northwest winds will increase fresh at times near windward coasts this afternoon and evening.
Showers will gradually clear southwards overnight tonight leaving clear spells. Minimum temperatures will range 0 to 4 degrees with light to moderate northerly or variable breezes inland, but winds will continue fresh to strong near the north coast.
