Autoparc Cavan launches campaign to celebrate success

Autoparc Cavan has been named the best dealership in Cavan and Ulster at this year's Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland’s (SEAI) Electric Vehicle Dealership Awards and, to celebrate, they have launched a special promotion at their Dublin Road dealership.

The Ford dealership came out on top having been evaluated on several criteria including showroom visibility of EVs, salesperson knowledge of EVs, sales approach, EV training, sales trends, and website presentation.

The delighted team at Autoparc now go to forward to the SEAI Energy Show in the RDS later this month, on March 26, 2025, where the overall winner will be revealed. The SEAI Energy Show is regarded as Ireland’s leading business to business energy event.

Speaking on the achievement, Managing Director Cathal O'Reilly said it was a "great feeling" to receive the prestigious recognition.

"Sometimes it's easy to overlook what the sales team is doing on the ground and it's great for them to get an award like this."

Mr O'Reilly said it would be "fantastic for the business" if they were to win the overall award.

"It would be a great achievement to have," he added.

Special promotion

To celebrate making it to the finals, Cavan Autoparc is running a campaign whereby those who order a New All-Electric Ford Capri will receive a free Zappi electric vehicle charger, worth €950.

"It's a real, real top-of-the-range charger," he explained.

In addition, those to avail of the campaign will receive five years' free servicing and a five-year warranty with the car. The campaign will begin on March 10 when they launch the New All-Electric Ford Capri and will apply to all orders made before March 31.

The motor industry is considered a vital part of the transition to clean and efficient transport and Ford is accelerating its European transformation to an all-electric and carbon neutral future by 2035.

In business for almost two decades, the team at Cavan Autoparc was an early adopter in this regard. The dealership provides a comprehensive range of Electric Vehicles (EVs), as well as hybrid models, thus contributing to Ireland’s Climate Action Plan and the transition to EVs.

Out of the four years since the EV dealership awards first began (2022), this is the third time that Autoparc has been recognised and rewarded for excellence in the promotion and sale of EVs in the county but the first they’ve lifted a regional prize.

"I'd like to thank all of our customers for supporting us over the years and helping us with the transition to electric," the Managing Director said.
