Over 1,100 antiques and collectables for auction

Usher Auctions is set to host a not-to-be missed sale with over 1,100 antiques and collectables from several home clearances.

The Kells auctioneers, established in 1978, is one of Meath’s longest established auction houses and one of the most respected in Ireland.

This coming auction consists of bespoke and highly sought after items such as a vintage radio collection from the late Rudy Dorrepaal, part clearance from a convent in Sligo.

Meanwhile, an exceptional clearance from a house in Drogheda will see Irish artworks by the likes of Alexander Williams RHA, Graham Knuttel and Simon Coleman go under the hammer.

Quality and timeless

Quality and timeless furniture by Gillows, Hicks and Strahan will also be available to a lucky bidder, along with 19th Century German porcelain, Irish silver and rare Redbreast Whiskey. A selection of garden furniture and wrought iron gates, carpets, rugs, modern designer furniture, Irish interest books, Waterford glassware, gold and silver coins, dinner and tea sets and much more will also feature.

Organisers say “viewing is highly recommended” before purchase.

Viewings take place on Thursday and Friday from 10am to 5.30pm, from 12 noon to 5pm on Saturday; and also from 2-6pm on Sunday.

The auction will take place on Monday, February 24, from 6pm.
