A damp and misty start, with chances of sunshine later

Weather update from Met Éireann.

It's a damp and misty start to the day with some patchy rain and drizzle, clearing northwards by mid-afternoon.

There will be a chance of some hazy sunny spells developing later. Southeast winds will be mostly moderate to fresh and gusty, but strong at times near coasts. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.

It will be rather cloudy but mostly dry tonight though rain will move in from the southwest towards morning.

Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees in moderate to fresh southeast winds.

Tomorrow will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain at first before clearing northwards through the morning with sunny spells developing and winds easing light southerly.

Cloud and showery outbreaks of rain will extend from the southwest later in the afternoon accompanied by fresh and gusty south or southeast winds. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
