“We opened last March so we are still finding our feet a little bit but our menu is a mix of authentic Italian pizzas and smash burgers and we add new items to the menu every week; we change things round a little,” explained owner manager Ciarán McMahon.

“Valentine’s Day is about romance and food so where better to choose a table than Luso’s. It’s a relaxed, laid back setting with music in the background. Generally, we get a lot of couples here because of the atmosphere. It’s a casual dining experience; the food is light - not overly rich - with nice drinks and cocktails available. It’s a relaxed and intimate atmosphere where people can share good food and good conversation.”

The restaurant has become popular in a very short space of time and has plenty to offer diners looking for romance and good food this Valentine’s Day!

Having started out their journey in a food truck, Luso’s is now part of a niche market that incorporates casual dining and high-quality food at affordable prices.

The restaurant is centrally located in the town’s main thoroughfare right behind the Black Horse Inn and also boasts its own entrance. There’s plenty of car parking for diners and drop-ins are also welcome.
