‘My Angel’Ukrainian exhibition

An exhibition featuring artworks and handmade pieces created by Ukrainian children during workshops at the Ukrainian Centre ‘Palyanytsya’ will go on display at Cavan Town’s Johnston Library this coming weekend, February 15.

Supported by Cavan County Local Development (CCLD) and Association of Ukrainians in the Republic of Ireland (AURI), the exhibition titled ‘My Angel’ marks three years since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

It will also be attended by Her Excellency Larysa Gerasko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland.

The exhibition is being hosted by Sergiy Balan, director with AURI.

“This exhibition is a unique showcase of the resilience, creativity, and talent of Ukrainian children. It holds special significance as we mark three years since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

“This event stands as a testament to the strength of the Ukrainian community and the unwavering support of Ireland,” he says.

“It also serves as a heartfelt expression of gratitude to Ireland for its steadfast support during these challenging times.”
