John (Jack) Hudson, Moate House, Corrovoggy, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, Wednesday 12th February 2025, peacefully in his 90th year, in the loving care of his family and the staff at Lisdarn Unit Cavan.
Predeceased by his wife Ethel. Sadly missed by his children Ken (Yvonne), Norman (Wendy), Richard (Elizabeth), Ally, Gillian (Robert), and daughter-in-law Evelyn , his brother Victor (England) and sister-in-law Ann, his adored grandchildren Craig, Stephen, Mark, Vanessa, Elaine, David, Shannon, Robert, Darragh, Andrew, Adam, Jonathan, Rebecca, Abby and Daniel, his great-grandchildren Dylan, Noah, Harry, Max, Hollie and Jack his nieces, nephews and many neighbours and friends.

Resting at Mullens Funeral Home, Cootehill (H16 FD25) on Friday 14th February from 6 - 8pm. Removal from his family home on Saturday at 1.30pm to arrive at Drung Parish Church (H12 KO96) for funeral service at 2pm and burial in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Lisdarn Comfort Care Unit c/o Freddie Kettyle undertaker or any family member.
All family houses strictly private at all times please.

Sarah (Sally) O’Reilly (née McLaughlin), Carrickmore, Ballyhaise, Co.Cavan, and formerly Malin, Co. Donegal, Wednesday, 12th February, peacefully at her residence in the loving care of her family. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, brother Paddy and her parents Hugh and Sarah. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Ann and Carmel, sons Patrick and Vincent, son-in-law Peter Sheridan, daughter-in-law Pauline, her sisters-in-law Celia McLaughlin and Anna Donohoe, her six adoring grandchildren Leontia, Shauna, Conor, Cian, Gavin and Niamh, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

Remains reposing at her late residence, Carrickmore, Ballyhaise (H12 XF29), on Thursday evening from 4pm to 8pm. Remains arriving to St. Brigid's Church, Killoughter, Redhills, on Friday for 12noon Funeral Mass. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
House private to family, friends and neighbours, please outside of reposing hours.
Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care c/o Gerard McMahon Funeral director or any family member.
The family wish to express their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, palliative care team and carers who cared so kindly for their mother during her short illness.

The death has occurred of Christine Mc Cooey, Drumgoose, Castleblayney. Peacefully following a short illness, surrounded by her cherished family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Predeceased by her parents Kitty & Willy Mooney, her sisters Mary Dorgan, Kathleen Matthews and brother Peter Mooney.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved husband John, sons Stephen, Liam (Sheena McKenna), Ciarán (Isabelle O’Neill), Kevin (Lisa Morgan) and daughter Sarah (Shane Black), her sisters Noeleen Cullen and Margaret Hamill, sisters and brothers in law, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Christine will repose at her home in Drumgoose, Castleblayney on Thursday, 13th February from 2pm until 8pm and again on Friday, 2pm to 8pm.
House Private on Saturday morning please.
Christine's funeral cortège will leave her home on Saturday, 15th February arriving for Funeral Mass at 11:00am in St Patrick's Church Broomfield, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sr Juliana (Mary) O’Donoghue
Ballybay, Monaghan / Millstreet, Cork
The death has occurred of Sr. Juliana (Mary) O’Donoghue. Tuesday, February 12th. The Sacred Heart Convent, Ballybay and formerly of Aubane, Millstreet, Co. Cork, who worked as a missionary in the diocese of Tzaneen, Limpopo, South Africa for 30 years. Peacefully in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff of St. Anne’s Nursing Home, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.
Predeceased by her parents Humphrey and Mary, sister Eily (Twomey) and brother Humphrey.
Sr. Juliana (Mary) deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, brothers John-Joe and Maurice, sisters in-law Ann and Gertie, nieces, nephews extended family, and her religious community, Daughters Of Our Lady Of The Sacred Heart Convent and her many friends.

Sr. Juliana (Mary) will repose at the Convent Chapel, Ballybay (A75F243) on Friday afternoon from 3pm until removal at 6:40pm (driving) to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church Ballybay for reception prayers at 7pm.
Sr. Juliana’s (Mary) funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Ballybay, on Saturday morning at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Please note at the request of the O’Donoghue family a memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church Millstreet, Co.Cork at a later date.
