Bereavement notice for Cavan
It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie
None were reported from County Monaghan over the period.

Cornagarrow, Drung, Cavan
Bridie McSherry (nee Flood), Cornagarrow, Drung, Co. Cavan, died 9th February 2025, in her 97th year, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff in College View Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Benny, daughter Nuala, infant daughter Rosemarie, grandson Dermot and sister May Monahan.
Will forever be missed by her children Sean (Kathleen), Nuala RIP (Benny), Mary (Billy RIP), Brian (Alice), Eileen (Tony) and Paddy, her grandchildren Sean, Peadar and Brian, Sean and Paul, Sinéad and Liam, Alan, Annemarie and Michelle, Leanne, Denise, Cathal and Rachel, her 16 great grandchildren, her two great-great granddaughters, her sister Eileen Fitzpatrick, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.
May she Rest in Peace
Reposing at Mullens Funeral Home, Cootehill (H16 FD25) this Monday from 5.30pm to 8.00pm. Removal on Tuesday evening from her residence to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception Drung at 6.30pm for prayers, with Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 10.30am, which can be viewed live here.
Burial immediately afterwards in Drung cemetery.
