Plenty of dry weather in the day ahead

Changeable weather with rain and showers at times but also plenty of dry weather. So says the latest weather bulletin from Met Éireann.
Early sunny spells in eastern areas will give way this morning to mostly cloudy conditions from the west with scattered patches of light rain and drizzle. However, there will be plenty of dry weather across north Leinster and east Ulster. Heavier and more persistent rain will develop in the west and southwest during the evening. Breezy with moderate to fresh southerly winds, strong at times near Atlantic coasts. Highest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees.
More persistent rain in Atlantic areas early tonight will gradually extend eastwards across the country. A clearance will follow in the west and southwest before dawn. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees, coldest in the morning in the clearance from the rain. Fresh and gusty southerly winds will veer westerly and ease overnight.
Rain and drizzle in eastern areas will clear tomorrow morning, becoming dry across the country with good spells of sunshine, turning hazy at times. It will become cloudier for Atlantic areas later in the afternoon with patchy rain and drizzle following in the evening. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light to moderate west to southwest winds, backing southerly later and increasing moderate to fresh.
Mostly dry overnight on Sunday with light rain or drizzle in Atlantic coastal areas. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees in the east and 6 to 9 degrees in the west. Southerly winds will increase fresh to strong by dawn.
Breezy on Monday with outbreaks of rain pushing in from the Atlantic. Likely holding mostly dry further east apart from the odd spot of rain or drizzle. Maximum temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees in fresh to strong southerly winds.
Outbreaks of rain will extend eastwards across the country Monday night, turning heavy at times, especially in the south. Minimum temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with strong southerly winds, veering southwesterly and easing overnight.
Cloudy and wet to start Tuesday with outbreaks of rain. However, drier and brighter conditions will extend from the west through the morning. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in moderate west to southwest breezes.
Current indications suggest that Wednesday will be dry with long spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light to moderate southwest breezes.
