Agnes Brady

(née Fay)

Gortnakillew, Poles, Cavan

Agnes Brady née Fay, beloved wife of the late Hugh, Gortnakillew, Poles, Co Cavan. Pre-deceased by her husband Hugh and sister Mary. Tuesday, 28th January, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Esker Lodge Nursing Home Cavan, surrounded by her loving family. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Anne, sons John and Matt, son in law Jimmy Lee, daughter in law Mary, grandchildren, sisters Veronica and Margaret, brothers John, Terry and P.J, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow Wednesday from 6.00pm, until 8.00pm. Removal afterwards to St Dympna’s Church, Lower Lavey, to arrive at 8.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12.00 noon, Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

John Fitzpatrick

Blanchardstown, Dublin / Drung, Cavan

FITZPATRICK, John (Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 and formerly of Drung, Co. Cavan) January 25th., 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital. Beloved husband of Teresa and cherished father of Imelda, Eamonn, Sean, Paul, Sylvanna and Philip; Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren Louise, Philip, Alex, Melanie, Colm, Eoin, Aífe and Dara, great-grandson Fionn, son-in-law Cathal, daughters-in-law Linda, Maryann and Marguerite, brother Michael, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at home on Wednesday evening (January 29th) between 5 pm and 8 pm. Removal on Thursday morning (January 30th) to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery, Leixlip.

Philip Callan

12 Lakeview, Emyvale, Monaghan / Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Philip Callan, 12 Lakeview, Emyvale and formerly Tully, Monaghan Town on Tuesday 28th January suddenly but very peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of staff in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Annie and his sister-in-law Nora Callan.

Philip will be forever loved and cherished by his heartbroken daughters Grainne (Brendan Keenan) and Aurelia (Sean O'Neill), their mother Siobhan and his adored grandchildren Megan, Rowen, Flynn, Freya and Logan. Philip will be sorely missed by his brothers Martin and Peadar, sisters Anne (Clancy) and Kathleen (Mc Kinney), his sister-in-law Eilish and brothers-in-law Gerry and Mickey, his nieces, nephews, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Phillip will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home, Monaghan Town, (H18YF22) on Wednesday(29th) and Thursday (30th) from 4pm until 8pm. Philips funeral procession will arrive to St Macartan's Cathedral on Friday (31st) for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in St. Joseph's cemetery, Latlurcan.

The death has occurred of PJ. Mc. Donald, Luí na Gréine, Scotstown and formerly of Nobber, Co Meath Tuesday 27th January suddenly but peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Micheal and Bridget, his sister Breege and brother Stephen.

P.J will be forever loved and missed by his children Helen(Micheal), Paula(Sean) Barry(Aisleen) and their mother Rosealeen, his cherished grandchildren Nathan, Jack, Leah, Ava and Emmet, his sisters Kate Calnan (Nobber), Maire Cassidy (Killmainham Wood) and Margaret O'Keeffe (England).

Barlow (Nee McConnon)(Warrenpoint) 25th January 2025, suddenly, Martina, dearly loved wife of Michael, loving mother of Maria-Grace and Michael, beloved daughter of the late Jim and Teresa, sister of Seamus and the late Thomas and sister-in-law of Cathy, Fiona and Patricia. 5, Rathdallan, Well Road, Warrenpoint and formerly of Inniskeen, Co.Monaghan.

Martina’s remains will repose at her home on Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm – 9pm on both days. Removal on Friday arriving at St. Peter’s Church, Warrenpoint for 10.30am Requiem Mass followed by interment in Warrenpoint Municipal Cemetery. House private on Friday morning for family only please.

Predeceased by his parents Dr Frank and Josephine Eardley (nee Toal) and his brother Harry.

Much loved husband of Bernadette (nee Swift) and cherished father of Brian (Norma) and Janice. Myles will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughter, son, daughter-in-law, adored grandchildren, Aoibhe and Kara, his sister Mary (Tomany, Jonesborough) and his brother Frank (Florida), sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved Myles.

Predeceased by his parents Rita and Paddy.

A private cremation will take place for Willie on Tuesday 28th January in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Willie’s ashes will arrive to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for requiem Mass on Thursday 30th January at 11 am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
