The damage was caused to the front of the Castle Hill apartments in the Erneside town by high winds brought during Storm Éowyn.

While many of the roads across County Cavan blocked by fallen trees have re-opened following Storm Eowyn, hazards remain and continued vigilance is advised.

Power outages continue at Cavan’s eight water treatment plants with power loss at pumping stations also impacting water supplies across the county.
