Funeral takes place of late Annie Heyneman

The funeral took place on Saturday of the late Annie Heyneman, the west Cavan mum found dead at her home earlier this month.

Her Funeral Mass took place at St. Patrick's Church in her home parish of Kilnavart.

Burial took place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

A 31-year-old man, Mrs Heyneman's son Danny, is currently in custody charged with the murder of mother, and the attempted murder of his father Henk late on Saturday, January 11.

A fundraiser to help her bereaved family smashed the €20,000 target set in the first day.
