Margaret CLARKE
(née Clarke)
Blanchardstown, Dublin / Cootehill, Cavan
CLARKE, Margaret (née Clarke) (Blanchardstown and formerly of Drutamon, Cootehill, Co. Cavan) January 16th 2025 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff at the Woodlands Unit, Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Margaret, beloved wife of the late Brian, cherished mother of Marion, Colette, Paul and the late Barry, devoted grandmother to Rachel, Cathal, Sara, Emma, Luke, Caitlin and Connor and dear sister of the late Teresa Cody. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Charles and John, daughters-in-law Christina and Colleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Church Avenue, Blanchardstown on Monday evening (January 20th) from 5pm to 7pm.
Removal to St Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown on Tuesday morning (January 21st) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Mullagh cemetery (St Killian’s), Co. Cavan arriving at 12.45pm (Approx).

Dympna Clarke
(née Farrell)
Crocknahattina, Bailieborough, Cavan
The death has occurred of Dympna Clarke (nee Farrell), Crocknahattina, Bailieborough, Co,Cavan. Surrounded by her loving family, Dympna died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Fairlawns Nursing Home, Bailieborough. Predeceased by her beloved husband Phil, her parents Owen and Mary Alice, brothers Michael and Paddy, sisters Eithne and Eilish.
Dympna will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Charles, Philip, Eilís, Dónal and Aileen, her brother Eugene, sons in law Brian and Garret, daughters in law Claire, Siobhán and Jennifer, her beloved grandchildren Cathal, Darragh, Niall, Oisín, Fergal, Sarah, Samuel, Eli, David, Sorcha, Fiachra, Laoise, Lochlan, Anna, Cormac, Cillian, Ellie, Louise, Philip and Emmett, her sisters in law Christine, Nora, Agnes, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home on Saturday 18th January from 2-5pm. Removal from her residence on Sunday to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough for funeral mass at 11:15 with burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. Dympna's funeral mass can be viewed live via St. Anne's Church Webcam.

John Doughty
Cormeen, Stradone, Cavan / Virginia, Cavan
John Doughty, Harrow, Middlesex and late of Cormeen, Stradone and Cavan Road, Virginia, Co. Cavan. Wednesday, December 25th, peacefully in Middlesex. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kitty and son Michael Edward, his parents Edward & Mary Ann and siblings Tom, Barbara and Baby Josephine.
Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Ann (Archie), Siabhan (Mark) and Clare (Andrew). Sadly missed by his adoring grandsons Daniel and Andrew, brothers Pat and Benny, sister Bridget, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Linda (Maura) McCarthy
(née Fitzsimons)
Rathnew, Wicklow / Ballyjamesduff, Cavan
19th June 1953 – 7th January 2025
Rathnew, Co. Wicklow and formerly Rassudden, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan.
Linda passed away suddenly but peacefully on 7th January 2025 in Perth Australia.
Predeceased by her son Tyrone, parents, Francie and Mai Fitzsimons and brother Eamon Fitzsimons and partner Kieran Nichols. Sadly missed by her sons Aaron and Ryan, siblings TJ, Kay, Norbert and Martin, grandchildren Ava and Conor, daughter in law Shaleen, sisters in law, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Funeral Mass on Monday 20th January at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Castlerahan, Co Cavan. Burial of Maura’s ashes will take place in Wicklow at a later date.

Elizabeth Owens nee Reilly, Ballyhaise, Co Cavan died 17 January 2025 peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet, Co Cavan.
Pre-deceased by her loving husband Terence Owens, parents Peter and Elizabeth Reilly, sisters Maureen, Kathleen and brother Jimmy. Lovingly remembered by her daughters Caroline and Jane and son Paul, her sister Susan, brothers Paddy, Peter, Edwin and Tony (Tom), in-laws, nephews and nieces.

Kevin McCabe, Tattygar, Castleblayney, Friday 17th January peacefully in Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Phylis, his parents Jack and Mary, and his brother Sean.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his sister Ann, brother Brendan, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Marie, brother-in-law Gerry, nieces, nephew, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Kevin by his own request will repose privately from Saturday afternoon amongst his family and friends at his brother Brendan’s home in Tullycara until removal on Monday morning at 11:15 am arriving for funeral mass at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, continuing on afterward for private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

The death has occurred of Charlie McKenna (Vig), Deravoy, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, H18 R207. Friday 17th January, peacefully at Monaghan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Margaret.
Charlie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughters Noeleen (Stephen), Maria (Loman), Deirdre (Richard), son Cathal (Deirdre), grandchildren Clodagh, Eve, Maisie, Tess, Luke, Charlie & Jamie, his loving partner May, brother Peter, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
