Motley Designs set to expand its product range

Grainne Dunne owns and runs Motley Designs in Redhills and also features in next week's Showcase.

The business was born from a love of creativity and a desire to celebrate the joys of childhood through thoughtful, beautiful gifts.

The company’s mission is to create products that solve the needs of parents and also bring joy and beauty to their homes. Every piece is designed with care, from removable wall stickers and positive affirmation prints to practical items like newborn flashcards, wardrobe separators and baby daily log notepads that make parenting that little bit easier.

Motley Designs products make the perfect unique, personalised, Irish gift for a newborn baby, new mum, child's birthday or christening.

“I started out doing personalised art work for kids and all the illustrations I use in my products are done by me,” explained Grainne.

“Then I saw an opportunity to use my illustrations in kids products; I have two kids Tom (3) and Emily (2) and they are my inspiration for creating products that I would have loved to have had when they were babies and for at the age they are at now.

"The vision of the brand is to expand the range into puzzles, jigsaws and other games for kids.

So, if Showcase 2025 goes well and we get stock in, a lot of retailers will be able to further grow the brand.”
